UTAH MATERNITY INSURANCE INFORMATION

• Supplemental Health Plans are often the best way of receiving benefits for maternity. For more information, visit www.utahmaternityinsurance.org.
  

• Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Utah covers 80% of maternity related expenses after a $5,000 co-pay, as long as the insured is not pregnant as of policy effective date. This benefit does vary depending on what plan you choose. (deductibles can range as high as $7,500)
  

• SelectHealth covers 100% of maternity related expenses after a $7,500 per-pregnancy deductible as long as the insured is not pregnant at the time of the effective date.
  

• Altius Health Plans covers 100% of maternity related expenses after a $7,500 annual deductible as long as the insured is not pregnant at the time of the effective date.
  

• HumanaOne no longer offers maternity coverage. They do not cover normal pregnancy charges. However there is some coverage if complications arise.
